    Eligibility Criteria

    The IBPS SO eligibility criteria is different for recruiting candidates to different positions for which the candidates are selected through IBPS SO 2018 Exam. There are three parameters (citizenship, age limit and educational qualification) that a candidateneeds to fulfill to be eligible for IBPS SO 2018 Exam.

    A candidate is required to be of minimum 20 years to be eligible for IBPS SO exam. The maximum age limit is 30 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation by the Government of India. The category wise age relaxation given to candidates for the post of IBPS SO is discussed below:

    How To Apply?

    It is expected that the IBPS SO Application form 2019 will be available in the month of November 2018. Interested and eligible applicants can fill and submit the application form online by visiting the official website of authority. Candidates can check the detailed information regarding IBPS SO Application form 2019.

    The authority will release the IBPS SO application form 2019 online on its official website as per the scheduled date. It is must for all the candidates to fill all the required details in the application form in the specified format. After completing the application filling process, candidates have to pay Rs. 600/- (Rs 100/-for reserved category) as necessary application fee.

    IBPS SO Admit Card

    The admit card for IBPS SO 2019 will be issued to those candidates only who registered successfully. The authority will release the admit card at least 10 days before the commencement of exam. Candidates should bring their admit card while appearing in the examination. The admit card for Mains Exam will be issued to those candidates who qualified the preliminary test with prescribed qualifying marks.

    IBPS SO Selection Procedure

    IBPS Specialist Officers Selection Process Details:
    IBPS specialist officer’s selection process details are given below :- Selection Procedure: IBPS will conduct Common Recruitment Process in two stages- Common Written Examination and Common Interview.

    Common Written Examination: Examination will consists of Prelims & Mains. There will be negative marking of 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question.

    i. Prelims Examination:
    This Exam consists of 150 questions carries 125 marks in the duration of 2 hours.
    ii. Main Examination:
    For the Post of Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer: Profession Knowledge Test consists of 60 questions carries 60 marks in the duration of 45 minutes.
    For the Post of Rashtrabhasha Adhikari: Profession Knowledge (Objective & Descriptive) Test consists of 47 questions carries 60 marks in the duration of 60 minutes. Common Interview:Candidates who have been shortlisted in the examination for CRP SPL will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisation and coordinated by the nodal banks with the help of IBPS. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online CWE (exam) and interview will be 80:20. The combined final scores of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in CWE (SPL) & Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.
    Provisional Allotment:On completion of the interview process, depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2018- 19 based on the business needs of the Participating Organisation and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisation, based on merit-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, various guidelines issued by Govt. of India/Others from time to time, administrative exigency, etc. Vacancies given in this advertisement are indicative. Provisional allotment shall be done on the basis of final vacancies to be reported by the Participating Organizations. Candidates should not claim indicative vacancies as final for provisional allotment. No change in the data already registered by the candidate in the online application form is possible.
    The decision of IBPS in provisional allotment of a candidate to a Participating Organisation shall be final and binding upon the selected candidates. However IBPS reserves the right to cancel and reallot Organisation-wise allocation depending upon exigencies or otherwise. Offer of appointment is solely the decision of the Participating Organisations and shall be final and binding. IBPS has no role here.
